Water & Soil Remediation S.r.l. (WSR) operates in the field of environmental services, including the remediation of contaminated soil and ground, designing, building and managing their sanitation systems. WSR has always acted and is always keen to maintain and continuously improve the performance and results in the field of Quality, Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental, Social and Economic result (Finance) (QSIASF), basing its identity on following values: sustainability, innovation and exceeding of mandatory and contractual requirements, efficiency, culture, ethics and cooperation. Values that led WSR to fill the high-end Engineering - Procurement - Environmental Construction market, which WSR considers strategic and constantly promotes through the active and responsible participation of all employees, internal and external, for the continued growth of the Organization.

The policy of WSR is based on the following basic principles and objectives:

  • internal and external customer satisfaction, paying particular attention to the expectations on Quality, Safety, Health, Environment, Social and Economic result (Finance) (QSIASF)
  • professional excellence, ethical behavior as well as continuous and effective results' improvement in the field of Quality, Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental, Social and Economic result (Finance) (QSIASF), for all business activities
  • prevention and early correction of critical issues as well as the pursuit of profit, in order to ensure the increasing prosperity of WSR
  • promotion of research, technological innovation, responsible and sustainable development of its activities
  • enhancement of people's centrality, with particular regard to those most deserving.

Based on the above principles and objectives, WSR is committed to:

  • operate in full compliance with the laws and regulations applicable to the company's sector of activity, with particular reference to those relating to QSIASF and, where they exist, comply with higher standards identified with a sense of responsibility;
  • ensure customer satisfaction, internal and external, translating their needs and expectations in the process' requirements and promptly managing any reports or complaints in relation to the services provided;
  • promote the excellence of conduct and continuous improvement in the field of QSIASF for all business activities in a manner that protects environment, biodiversity, health and hygiene of life and working environment, the safety and the health of its employees, as well as of all those who work and collaborate with the Organization in its operations, in addition to the clients and the public;
  • prevent accidents, injuries, occupational diseases and risk situations by identifying, measuring, controlling and eliminating precursory signals, also through the design, maintenance, monitoring, education, information and training, preventive measures, protection devices, creating awareness on the work's implications each may have;
  • respond quickly, effectively and diligently to accidents and emergencies that may occur during operations as well as encourage preventive and careful behaviors, even outside the working environment;
  • foster the enhancement and optimization of resources through the involvement, the clear and practical communication of the ways of working, of knowledge and experience and of the best possible use of the Integrated Management System QSIASF, through the recognition to the most deserving and those who most strive for the growth and development of the Organization;
  • promote at every level of the Organization planning, self-control, surveillance even in first person, timely identification and correction of criticalities of all kinds; • use the principles of this policy and the criteria for Health, Safety, Environment, Quality, Social and Finance in the process of selection and evaluation of suppliers and contractors, requiring goods, services and behaviors consistent with it, through the effective control of their work;
  • promote teamwork and synergy with the contractors, in order to integrate the processes of protection and prevention with the processes of the QSIASF management system;
  • make the necessary financial resources available, enhance them and optimize them in order to pursue the continuous improvement of the effectiveness and timing of completion of the activities and the achievement of objectives;
  • not to tolerate any kind of corruption in any form or manner, in any jurisdiction, even where such activities are in practice tolerated or allowed or not prosecuted;
  • inform employees, Workers' Safety and Environment representatives (RLSA) and other interested Parties of objectives, programs and achievements in the field of QSIASF;
  • assess the adequacy and effectiveness of the QSIASF Management System, as well as the employees' performance, as part of periodic management reviews and consider the results as an integral part of business management.

The QSIASF Policy and the Integrated Management implementation is implicit in the responsibility of every employee who is therefore called upon to merge their aspirations in a large company project, more and more involved in the continuing growth of the Organization, and aware that the behaviors and the results are an integral part of the role of each and represent a significant element in judging the performance of the individual employee and those made by third parties. The Management of WSR considers this policy framework for the management of its own Integrated System QSIASF, both for the annual review and definition of its specific objectives and for the proper functioning of the systems and business processes, subjected to periodic internal and external reviews, performed by an accredited body.
